El juicio que celebra la Sección Primera de la Audiencia Provincial de Sevilla contra 22 ex altos cargos de la Junta, entre ellos los expresidentes Manuel Chaves y José Antonio Griñán, por el caso de los ERE alcanza una nueva fase esta semana con la prueba pericial que dará comienzo este martes, después de que este lunes declare el último testigo propuesto por las partes.

La declaración de Antonio Toro Barba, ex director del Servicio Andaluz de Empleo y del Servicio Estatal de Empleo, citado este lunes, cierra la fase testifical, que finalmente ha contado con alrededor de 120 testigos, aunque en un inicio estaban previstos 146 y cuatro agentes de la Unidad Central Operativa de la Guardia Civil, tras la renuncia expresa de una veintena por parte de las partes, principalmente las defensas.
Ya en la sesión del martes dará comienzo la prueba pericial de forma conjunta, considerada por las partes como prueba fundamental para esclarecer los hechos que se juzgan en este procedimiento específico.
El tribunal, presidido por el magistrado Juan Antonio Calle Peña, ha citado a nueve peritos.
