Vuelve el tren de mercancías al Puerto de Málaga
Los trenes de mercancías vuelven a entrar en el Puerto de Málaga y lo hacen de la mano de la naviera Hapag-Lloyd, que abre una línea de transporte de mercancías entre el Mediterráneo y Canadá.

Este jueves de madrugada llegó el primer tren, recorriendo la línea que conecta la estación María Zambrano con el Puerto de Málaga y que atraviesa Héroe de Sostoa, Ayala y el paseo marítimo de Antonio Machado.
El primer convoy llegó procedente de Madrid con 24 contenedores que han cargado en el barco ‘Mississauga Express’, de Hapag-Lloyd y con 245 metros de eslora.
El buque ha embarcado los contenedores y continuará hasta el puerto de Tanger Med, tras partir del puerto francés de Fos-Sur-Mer.
El destino final es Canadá, estableciendo una ruta regular de transporte de mercancías.
La apertura de esta línea pone sobre la mesa la mejora de la línea férrea que conecta con el puerto y que sigue yendo en superficie, por lo que obliga a realizar el paso de trenes por la noche para no entorpecer el tráfico de vehículos.
