Andalucía supera los ocho millones de turistas extranjeros

Andalucía ha recibido más de ocho millones de turistas extranjeros en los ocho primeros meses del año, lo que supone un aumento del 1,1 por ciento con respecto al mismo periodo del año 2017 mientras que el gasto de los turistas extranjeros aumenta un 1,15 por ciento hasta agosto, con 8.882 millones.

Andalucía ha recibido un total de 8.079.223 turistas extranjeros hasta agosto, un 1,1% más, con 8.882 millones de gasto, según la Encuesta de Movimientos Turísticos en Frontera y la de Gasto Turístico, difundidas este martes por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística.

Con esta cifra, Andalucía se sitúa como cuarta comunidad de destino principal por número de turistas, por detrás de Cataluña, Islas Baleares y la Islas Canarias.

Reino Unido fue el principal mercado emisor de turistas hacia Andalucía en el mes de agosto, con un 23,8 por ciento del total de turistas, y el segundo fue Francia, con el 18,6 por ciento.

En cuanto al gasto de los turistas internacionales, Andalucía aglutina el 13,6 por ciento del gasto total y el gasto medio por turista ha sido de 1.093 euros, un 0,74 por ciento más que en el mismo período de 2017.
