The socialist deputy Miguel Angel Heredia visited Antequera Friday, accompanied by the mayoral candidate and secretary general of the local PSOE, Francisco Calderón, and highlighted the commitment of the new socialist government to raise the minimum interprofessional salary to 900 euros per month gross the next year, a measure that supposes, 900 euros per month measured in 14 payments, or 1,050 euros, if it is taken with 12 payments per year.

The PSOE highlights that the Government will raise the minimum wage by 26.4% to 900 euros.

Socialist deputy Miguel Angel Heredia has considered the decent attitude of the right, both the right of the Citizens’ Orange and the blue right of the PP to be radically against this measure, not very decent and not very dignified.

Heredia has asked if the mayor of Antequera, Manuel Barón, of the PP, supports Tejerina’s statements in relation to the children of Andalusia.

The Socialist candidate for the Mayor of Antequera, Francisco Calderón, explained that the President of the Government has committed to this rise in the minimum wage interprofessional does not negatively affect the self-employed or SMEs.

According to the Socialists, with this measure the Government intends to contribute to reduce the wage inequality that exists in the labor market and, most importantly, to help reduce the number of working poor.
