Agentes de la Policía Nacional detuvieron el pasado 7 de mayo en un hotel en Estepona a dos hombres, de 21 y 54 años, ambos de nacionalidad italiana, por supuestamente robar un muestrario de joyas valoradas en 600.000 euros a un representante de joyería tras forzar su coche en las inmediaciones de un taller, en un centro comercial en la localidad de Marbella. Los investigadores les seguían la pista por su presunta implicación en otros dos hechos delictivos, un robo en interior de vehículo y un hurto al descuido, también en un coche, en un polígono industrial en Málaga, donde habrían sustraído un botín de unos 5.000 euros en efectivo a dos ciudadanos. Los agentes de la Policía Nacional acabaron identificando y deteniendo en un hotel de Estepona a los presuntos responsables de las sustracciones, que solían moverse en coche de alquiler.
