El patrullero de la Armada Infanta Cristina ha hecho escala este lunes y martes en el puerto de Málaga. Durante su estancia en el muelle dos, ha abierto sus puertas al público para dar a conocer este buque que pertenece a la Armada Española desde noviembre de 1980. El patrullero, octavo buque en la historia de la Armada que lleva este nombre, tiene una dotación compuesta por un total de 70 personas. Su misión principal es la vigilancia marítima. Dentro de este campo, las misiones encomendadas pueden ser diversas, como la lucha contra la inmigración ilegal y el tráfico de estupefacientes, la lucha contra la piratería, el control del tráfico marítimo, la protección del medio ambiente y la vigilancia de pesca.
