Andalucía registró un total de 40 huelgas durante el primer semestre de este año, tres más que entre enero y junio de 2018, en las que participaron hasta Catorce mil cuatrocientos noventa y ocho trabajadores, seis mil quinientos siete más que un año antes. Además, en Andalucía se contabilizaron un total de 36 mil 710 jornadas no trabajadas por estas huelgas, que son 24 mil 434 más que en los seis primeros meses de 2018. En números absolutos, Andalucía es la sexta comunidad autónoma en la que más huelgas se registraron entre enero y junio de este año, superada por el País Vasco, Cataluña, Comunidad de Madrid, Navarra y Galicia. Por provincias, la andaluza que se vio afectada por más huelgas en dicho periodo de tiempo es Sevilla, con 21.
