Noticia – Consejería de Educación afirma que no plantea el cierre de ningún colegio en Málaga

La Consejería de Educación y Deporte no plantea el cierre de ningún centro educativo en la ciudad de Málaga con el objeto de ubicar centros de salud.
Así han salido al paso de las acusaciones realizadas por el portavoz del PSOE en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, Daniel Pérez, sobre la intención del alcalde, Francisco de la Torre, de cerrar el colegio Gutiérrez Mata del distrito este de la capital, lo que afectaría a 143 alumnos.

La Consejería de Salud ha precisado que el Ayuntamiento de Málaga y la propia Consejería son las administraciones a las que corresponde analizar y determinar las necesidades que pudieran existir en ese sentido, así como formular las posibles soluciones y siempre garantizando en todo caso el derecho a la Educación del alumnado.
La idea que planteó De la Torre, según Daniel Pérez, es eliminar el colegio Gutiérrez Mata, dividiendo en otros centros a esos estudiantes, mientras destina esos terrenos para una nueva Jefatura de Policía Local, al tiempo que usa el suelo de la parcela que da cobijo a la actual jefatura para ampliar el centro de salud, por su cercanía.
