Agentes de la Inspección Pesquera de la Junta de Andalucía y del Seprona de la Comandancia de la Guardia Civil de Málaga han intervenido en una operación conjunta 150 kilos de pulpo inmaduro en el puerto pesquero de Marbella, una actuación que se enmarca en el Plan Anual de Control Integral de Actividades Pesqueras. En la noche del pasado lunes, agentes de la Inspección Pesquera de la Junta de Andalucía y del Seprona interceptaron una furgoneta sospechosa, que abandonaba el puerto pesquero de Marbella. En el interior del vehículo agentes e inspectores hallaron la mercancía, que en su totalidad tenía un peso inferior al permitido para esta especie, ya que la talla mínima de captura y venta del pulpo es de un kilogramo. El transportista, reincidente en este tipo de infracciones, recogía la mercancía que procedía de descargas ilegales, realizadas sin pasar por lonja y, por lo tanto, sin los controles sanitarios y de identificación pertinentes.

Inside the vehicle agents and inspectors found the merchandise, which in its entirety had a lower weight than allowed for this species, since the minimum size of catch and sale of the octopus is one kilogram. The transporter, a repeat offender in this type of infraction, collected the merchandise that came from illegal discharges, carried out without passing through the fish market and, therefore, without the relevant sanitary and identification controls.
