The Andalusian Government has ruled out isolating specific areas of Andalusia, such as Malaga, as a measure to curb the spread of coronavirus in the Community and, in addition, has chosen, following the recommendations of the national Government, not to give information on positive cases by municipalities so as not to stigmatize.
On the other hand, the Board has agreed to limit burials in Andalusia to ten people, including the priest in the case of being a religious one, as a way to stop the spread of the coronavirus, at the same time that it has urged consultations related to the health, such as dentists, opticians and podiatrists, to close their consultations and attend only to emergencies.
This was transferred by the counselor of the Presidency and spokesman for the Andalusian Government, Elías Bendodo, in a non-face-to-face press conference with the Minister of Health and Families, Jesús Aguirre, after a meeting of the crisis cabinet set up by the Board to deal with the coronavirus crisis.
