La Policía Nacional y la Guardia Civil han desarticulado una organización formada por ciudadanos chinos a los que se les imputan los delitos de pertenencia a grupo criminal, tráfico de drogas, defraudación de fluido eléctrico, falsificación de documentos, robo con violencia e intimidación, robo con fuerza y estancia ilegal.
Dicha operación se inició con motivo de la actuación de agentes de la Policía Nacional de Antequera los cuales interceptaron varios paquetes postales con destino Italia que contenían marihuana. Al mismo tiempo, agentes de la Guardia Civil investigaban a los responsables por su implicación en una plantación de marihuana en Mijas.
En la operación se han intervenido 9.000 plantas de marihuana, en cuatro plantaciones, 19.000 euros en metálico, cuatro vehículos, pasaportes falsificados de la República Popular China, material para la falsificación de documentos y teléfonos móviles, entre otros materiales.
