El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, ha destacado este jueves que ya se está «al principio del fin de la pandemia» del Covid-19 gracias a la publicación, en las últimas semanas, de datos positivos de las vacunas que se están desarrollando contra el coronavirus y por el Plan de Vacunación contra Covid-19, aprobado este martes por el Consejo de Ministros. Sánchez se ha pronunciado así tras visitar, junto al ministro de Ciencia e Innovación, Pedro Duque, y la directora de la Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS), María Jesús Lamas, la fábrica de Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi en San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), donde se realizará a gran escala el llenado y acabado de la vacuna candidata ARNm contra la enfermedad Covid-19 de la compañía Moderna.
