El Congreso de Perú ha aprobado inhabilitar al expresidente Martín Vizcarra para ejercer cargos públicos durante 10 años, una decisión que se toma en el marco de su vinculación con el caso ‘Vacunagate’, con 86 votos a favor y ninguno en contra ni abstenciones. El pleno del Congreso ha tomado esta decisión al considerarle responsable de haber cometido seis infracciones a la Constitución del país en su mandato como presidente, al haberse vacunado contra la COVID-19 de forma irregular así como permitir que se vacunen su esposa, Maribel Díaz, y su hermano mayor, César Vizcarra, según recoge ‘El Comercio’.
