Patricia Navarro, seguirá siendo secretaria general del PP de Málaga y delegada del Gobierno andaluz en la provincia malagueña. Así lo han acordado las direcciones nacional y provincial de los populares para compatibilizar ambos cargos. Se trata de una petición expresa del presidente del Partido Popular de Málaga, Elías Bendodo quien anunció el pasado 7 de marzo su intención de que Patricia Navarro continuara como secretaria general de la formación, antes incluso de que fuera nombrada delegada de la Junta en Málaga. Entonces, la dirección nacional no vio con buenos ojos aceptar esa compatibilidad, que no contemplan los estatutos salvo excepciones. Algo que, sin embargo, sí permitieron cuando Bendodo se presentó a la reelección como presidente provincial del partido siendo también consejero de la Presidencia de la Junta de Andalucía.
