El sector agrícola ha mostrado su preocupación con la propuesta de acuerdo realizada por el Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación para la elaboración del Plan Estratégico de la Política Agraria Común (PAC). Así lo ha expresado el coordinador general técnico de Asaja Sevilla, Eduardo Martín, quien ha lamentado que, tras tres años de negociaciones, el documento planteado contenga «flecos aún por cerrar». La consejera de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Junta de Andalucía, Carmen Crespo, ha adelantado que no van a apoyar un documento que no contenga «un compromiso certero para la PAC futura». En cuanto a la vinculación con el mundo rural, el director de Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, Jaime Martínez-Conradi, ha subrayado que el modelo del sector puede frenar la despoblación de las localidades del interior. El secretario general de COAG Andalucía, Miguel López Sierra, ha considerado que la medida «no busca mejorar el nivel de vida de agricultores y ganaderos, sino que beneficia a los grades fondos de inversión». Por su parte, UPA reclama la aplicación de manera «valiente» del pago redistributivo y muestra su satisfacción por la inclusión del agricultor pluriactivo dentro de la definición de agricultor genuino. El sector prepara unas movilizaciones para el próximo martes, día previo a la Conferencia Sectorial de la PAC entre el Ministerio y las comunidades autónomas.
