The Malaga City Council and the Ministry of Development have reached an agreement that will strengthen the surveillance of the Local Police for vehicles with a tourist license with driver, the well-known VTC. The agreement thus seeks to comply with the regulations on transport and thus avoid situations of fraud such as intrusion in the sector. The agreement will materialize in a specific training that the Ministry will give to the agents on the legal regime of this type of transport so that the Malaga City Council allocates a specific number of troops for surveillance and control. This was one of the points agreed with the taxi sector in one of its last meetings and it is the first time that an agreement of these characteristics has been launched in Andalusia. For their part, agents may have access to the license registry through 20 computer devices that will allow them to verify that the VTC in question complies with the law. These will be deployed in the points of greatest influx of this type of vehicle such as the airport, ports and places of leisure.
