La Operación Especial de Tráfico con motivo del puente del 15 de agosto ha concluido con cuatro accidentes, uno de ellos mortal, con un fallecido y cuatro heridos no hospitalizados en la provincia de Málaga. Comparado con el mismo dispositivo de 2019, hay una bajada en el número de siniestros aunque entonces hubo 11 accidentes con 21 heridos, y ninguna víctima mortal. Por otro lado, de los movimientos producidos en los accesos a Málaga capital, 260.963 corresponden a trayectos de largo recorrido, lo que supone un incremento del 2,6 por ciento en relación con los movimientos registrados durante el mismo periodo de 2019. En cuanto a las retenciones, del 13 al 16 de agosto, la mayoría se han producido en la autovía A-7 por la densidad de la circulación y casi todas han ocurrido sobre todo a mediodía y a últimas horas de la tarde.
