🔴Noticia – Fallece la primera víctima de virus del Nilo

De los tres contagiados por el virus del Nilo en Andalucía, los tres en la provincia de Sevilla, dos pertenecían al municipio de Coria del Río. Pues bien, la Junta ha informado que una de esas personas ha fallecido. Se trata de una mujer de 73 años que sufría patologías previas y que estaba ingresada en el Hospital Virgen del Rocío de Sevilla. Se trata de la primera víctima mortal de este virus registrada en España en lo que llevamos de año. Según la Consejería de Salud, los dos enfermos de Coria estaban ingresados en el mismo centro hospitalario, pero ninguno de ellos estaba en la UCI. El tercer caso corresponde a una mujer, también de avanzada edad, de la localidad de Villamanrique de la Condesa. En este caso, la mujer se encuentra en su casa recuperándose de la enfermedad. El alcalde de Coria del Río, Modesto González, ya avisó el pasado 30 de julio que las muestras recogidas por el CSIC en los arrozales del Bajo Guadalquivir, habían detectado en ejemplares de mosquito una carga vírica de intensidad equiparable a la del brote de 2020 y anunciaba hace escasos días que emprendería acciones legales contra la Junta de Andalucía acusándola de negligente en la prevención de la propagación de este insecto.
