🔴Noticia – 350 afganos viajan desde Rota a Virginia (EEUU)

Los primeros afganos evacuados por Estados Unidos que llegaron a la Base Naval de Rota, en Cádiz, ya tienen destino. La instalación militar acoge actualmente a 1.700 colaboradores afganos del gobierno estadounidense. Este martes, 350 de ellos han salido hacia Virginia, en la costa este de Estados Unidos. Algunos de los vuelos que salen de Afganistán hacen escala mientras que otros van directamente a Rota, donde están trabajando 700 personas para asistir a los refugiados. Este martes llegaban otros 200 afganos evacuados en el que ha sido el sexto avión que ha llegado a la base en este operativo especial. En el aparato también viajaban ciudadanos estadounidenses. Buena parte de la ayuda que llega a estas personas procede de la solidaridad de los roteños y asociaciones que han donado alimentos, productos de primera necesidad y ropa para los refugiados. Cruz Roja colabora con las autoridades norteamericanas y con el ejército español que también coordina toda esta ayuda.
