As you are going to see, the streets of Lepe have been after the heavy rains that fell this Thursday. A drone view shows the damage caused by the storm. The Huelva town was affected by a heavy downpour that has caused significant damage not only to homes and businesses but also to several educational centers, such as the Alonso Barba school where the force of the water knocked down a wall. More than 630 troops are working to try to restore normality as soon as possible, and it is that, in addition to the floods caused by DANA, there is the breakage of pipes and the electricity cut in this and other municipalities of the province of Huelva. Several regional roads remain closed or with irregular traffic due to flooding or partial breakage of the route due to the force of the current of several rivers and streams that overflowed. Other towns were also affected, such as Isla Cristina or Cartaya. In the latter, up to 121 liters per square meter were registered in one hour, although this figure was exceeded at the mouth of the Piedras River, with rainfall that left 146 liters per square meter in one hour.
