La Junta de Andalucía ha reforzado los trabajos preventivos y de limpieza en cauces afectados por el incendio de Sierra Bermeja en la provincia de Málaga con el objetivo de mitigar los efectos del arrastre de material por la pérdida de vegetación y ante un aumento del caudal de los ríos y arroyos como consecuencia de las precipitaciones propias del otoño. Las actuaciones se concentran aguas abajo de la zona afectada, a fin de intensificar las labores de limpieza desarrolladas con anterioridad y favorecer las condiciones hidráulicas de desagüe. El director general ha señalado que se han visto afectados 110 kilómetros de cauces de la comarca.
