El vicepresidente de la Junta de Andalucía y consejero de Turismo, Juan Marín, dice que se han superado las previsiones de ocupación hotelera para este puente del Pilar en la región. Señala que incluso hay provincias que han superado el 95%, lo que les hace ser muy optimistas para alcanzar la cifra de 21 millones de viajeros en la comunidad para finales de este año. Marín señala que de alcanzarse este objetivo, se confirmaría la tendencia para 2022 como el año de la recuperación del sector turístico. El consejero ha explicado que aunque en lo que llevamos de 2021 el peso del turismo lo han aportado los viajeros nacionales, dice que en septiembre y octubre se está viendo una mayor llegada de visitantes extranjeros.
