🔴Noticia – Brote de covid en miembros de la UME en La Palma

La erupción del volcán de La Palma está ocurriendo en plena pandemia, no hay que olvidarlo. Una crisis natural a la que se suma una sanitaria. Este jueves se ha detectado un brote de coronavirus en miembros de la Unidad Militar de Emergencias (UME) que están desplegados en la isla de La Palma ayudando en las tareas de retirada de ceniza, pero también colaborando con vecinos e incluso realizando un seguimiento del volcán con mediciones a diario. Por el momento hay 11 casos confirmados que presentan síntomas leves y que han sido aislados del resto a la espera de que se les hagan nuevas pruebas. Se desconoce si han contraído la nueva variante del Covid, Ómicron, pero los resultados de laboratorio podrían confirmar en los próximos días si alguno de los infectados está contagiado con dicha variante.
