🔴Noticia – Vecinos de Las Manchas vuelven a sus casas cubiertas de ceniza

Volver a un pueblo que ya no es el que dejaron. Un lugar en el que la ceniza todavía recorre las calles y oculta casas. Montañas negras que se adueñan de cualquier rastro de color. Tristeza es lo que siente Teresa al recorrer el paisaje de Las Manchas (La Palma) y abrir la puerta que cerró hace cuatro meses cuando se produjo la erupción del volcán de Cumbre Vieja. Los terremotos han dejado deformaciones en el suelo. Cubiertas caídas bajo las que quedan los restos de la erupción. Milagros busca en su móvil un jardín que solo permanece en fotos y como ellas mil vecinos vuelven a Las Manchas pero se hace difícil quedarse en casa sin agua potable y con mucha ceniza alrededor. Y pese a todo se sienten afortunados porque, al menos, tienen una vivienda a la que poder regresar. El resto, recuperar el lugar que recuerdan, solo es cuestión de trabajo y tiempo. (Atlas)
