The Junta de Andalucía recommends the use of the mask in the crowds that occur during the processional parades. In addition, it also recommends that bearers or throne bearers carry out self-diagnosis tests before each official departure, as close to the departure time and at most 24 hours in advance. This was announced by the advisor to the Presidency of the Andalusian government, Elías Bendodo, at the end of the Governing Council on Tuesday. Some recommendations that also extend to the rest of the fairs and celebrations that now with spring begin to take place in many corners of Andalusia, calling for the responsibility of citizens. These recommendations come after several days in which the number of infections in the region has increased. This Tuesday Andalusia has registered a total of 6,568 positives for Covid-19. This figure is the sum of the infections of the last four days. In these four days there have been 23 deaths from coronavirus. The incidence in the community rises 9.5 points compared to Friday and stands at 319.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. As for the number of hospitalized, the number of patients with covid has dropped by 31 since Saturday, leaving a total of 551 admitted to hospitals in the region. The Junta de Andalucía will only report the pandemic data twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays, instead of daily as it has done until now.
