🔴Noticia – España avala el uso de cannabis medicinal

Cuando los fármacos y técnicas habituales para tratar el dolor neuropático, ese dolor crónico derivado de lesiones o patologías, que se hace insufrible e incapacitante, pueden llegar los principios activos del cannabis para uso estrictamente medicinal. Es el punto de partida de la regulación a la que ha dado el sí definitivo la Comisión de Sanidad del Congreso de los Diputados este lunes. Una regulación que deja bajo el control de la Agencia española del Medicamento la vigilancia y el control del cultivo de la planta, como los medicamentos que se realicen a partir de derivados del cannabis, así como fórmulas magistrales, que siempre requerirán de indicación médica y a las que los pacientes tendrán acceso vía farmacia hospitalaria y farmacias comunitarias autorizadas. Las únicas vías autorizadas de este uso medicinal son oral, inhalada y tópica. Nunca fumada. La regulación del uso medicinal del cannabis va a permitir investigar y ampliar el conocimiento (aún escaso) en algunas indicaciones, como es el caso de los cuidados paliativos. Habrá un registro centralizado de pacientes a los que se prescriben preparados, o formulas magistrales. Se calcula que podrían ser más de 300.000 los pacientes que utilizan cánnabis medicinal en España para encontrar bienestar lejos de un dolor insufrible e incapacitante.
