Los trabajadores de Abengoa, en Sevilla, siguen con las protestas ante la difícil situación que presenta la empresa. Este jueves, decenas de trabajadores se han concentrado ante la Consejería de Industria en la capital hispalense. Y es que la situación para la compañía se ha complicado mucho en los últimos días tras el rechazo de la SEPI al rescate de 249 millones a la empresa. Aún así, los trabajadores afirman ver un poco de luz al final del túnel tras solicitar que la Junta de Andalucía se implicara en las negociaciones y que el Gobierno central también fuera partícipe. Precisamente, este próximo lunes, está prevista una reunión sobre el futuro de la multinacional entre la administración regional y el ejecutivo de Pedro Sánchez. Los representantes de los trabajadores piden que asista a la reunión la ministra de Industria, Reyes Maroto, y el lugar del encuentro aún no queda claro pero los trabajadores están dispuestos, dicen, a que la reunión se haga en Madrid si no puede ser en Sevilla. Los trabajadores llevan varios días acampados a las puertas de la Subdelegación del Gobierno en Sevilla. Una sentada que en breve podría terminar, al menos de momento, ante las próximas reuniones que serán cruciales. El portavoz de los trabajadores, José Luis de Miguel Caro, asegura que después de que se hayan acabado los plazos no queda más remedio que activar el mecanismo del concurso de acreedores para proteger la empresa durante el tiempo que tarde en resolverse la situación en la mesa de negociación.
