La última crisis abierta en el Gobierno de coalición por el aumento del gasto en Defensa ha llevado a Unidas Podemos a convocar por segunda vez la Comisión del Pacto de Gobierno con el PSOE. La vicepresidenta segunda y ministra de Trabajo, Yolanda Díaz, es la que ha ordenado revisar este acuerdo que firmaron el PSOE y Unidas Podemos para sellar su pacto de gobernabilidad. Las desavenencias entre ministros socialistas y de la formación morada por la decisión de Pedro Sánchez de aumentar al 2% el gasto en defensa es el principal cisma que se ha abierto entre los socios. Y es que el presidente se comprometió ante la OTAN a aumentar la partida destinada para el ministerio que dirige Margarita Robles. Además, la propia ministra de Trabajo ha señalado que Unidas Podemos se ha enterado este martes por la prensa de que el Consejo de Ministros iba a aprobar un crédito de 1.000 millones de euros para el Ministerio de Defensa. Moncloa desmiento eso asegurando que todos los departamentos habían sido informados. Este crédito procede del fondo de contingencia y, por tanto, no requiere convalidación por parte del Congreso. Aún así, Díaz se solidariza con la oposición y exige que la oposición tenga conocimiento de este incremento a través de las Cortes.
