🔴Noticia – El progresista Rafael Mozo, nuevo presidente del CGPJ

Tras la renuncia de Carlos Lesmes como presidente del Consejo General del Poder Judicial, este jueves, el pleno de este órgano se ha reunido para elegir al sustituto de Lesmes. El vocal de mayor edad, Rafael Mozo, ha sido el elegido con 16 votos a favor, 1 en contra y una ausencia. Mozo representa al sector progresista de la institución y será presidente suplente pero no en funciones, por lo que tendrá menos poder que su predecesor en el cargo. Carlos Lesmes también era presidente del Tribunal Supremo pero en la reunión de este jueves, el Pleno de este Consejo General del Poder Judicial también ha acordado que el nuevo presidente del alto tribunal sea el miembro de más edad. En este caso, el cargo recaerá en el magistrado Francisco Marín Castán.
