El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, ha reclamado este lunes al PP que cumpla la Constitución, días después de que los ‘populares’ rompiesen la negociación para renovar el Consejo General del Poder Judicial (CGPJ), cuyo mandato lleva cuatro años caducado, ante la decisión del Gobierno de reformar el delito de sedición. En una acto de homenaje a las víctimas del golpe de Estado de 1936, la Guerra Civil y la dictadura, Sánchez ha señalado que honrar la Constitución «exige algo más que proclamar su vigencia», es decir, «cumplirla de principio a fin sin excusas ni subterfugios», ha señalado sin mencionar expresamente al PP. El coordinador general del PP, Elías Bendodo, ha anunciado también este lunes que presentarán mociones en ayuntamientos y parlamentos autonómicos para que el PSOE de cada territorio diga «alto y claro» si está de acuerdo con que se abarate el delito de sedición en España.
