El Parlamento cuenta con 120 escaños, por lo que Netanyahu necesitaba garantizarse al menos 61 para confirmar su vuelta al poder año y medio después. La Comisión Electoral concede al Likud 31 legisladores, mientras que su principal apoyo, el ultraderechista Sionismo Religioso, figura con 14, un hito inédito en la historia de la extrema derecha en Israel.
