La Comisión Europea ha propuesto este martes fijar un tope de 275 euros el megavatio hora (MWh) al precio de las compras de gas que se activará automáticamente ante excepcionales subidas de precios y que limitará, a un mes vista, las transacciones en el mercado regulado, si bien el mecanismo contará con un freno de emergencia para su suspensión en caso de que perturbe gravemente los mercados.
