Tras el fin de semana de tensión vivido en Jerusalén, el primer ministro de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, ha asegurado que el Gobierno israelí ha emprendido una respuesta «dura, rápida y precisa» tras los atentados del pasado sábado en Jerusalén, que costaron las vidas de siete israelíes. En su reunión de este domingo con el Consejo de Ministros israelí, Netanyahu ha confirmado una por una las primeras medidas adoptadas el sábado por la noche por las autoridades israelíes, como la aceleración del proceso de expedición de armas de fuego a la población con licencia o el refuerzo del contingente de seguridad.
