Navantia ha entregado a la Armada española el Submarino S-81 ‘Isaac Peral’, en el Arsenal de Cartagena en Murcia. Ha sido en un acto presidido por la ministra de Defensa. Es el primero de los cuatro que están previstos para modernizar la flota. El astillero, el primero diseñado y construido Ãntegramente en España, ha costado 4000 millones de euros y se ha tardado 20 años en construirlo. Fue amadrinado, en 2021, por la princesa de Asturias.

Navantia has delivered the S-81 Submarine ‘Isaac Peral’ to the Spanish Navy, at the Cartagena Arsenal in Murcia. It was at an event chaired by the Minister of Defense.
