No quiere modificar la Ley de amnistía, pero trata de atraer a Junts de nuevo al sí. Sánchez pone sobre la mesa para ello la modificación de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Criminal. Sugiere limitar los plazos de instrucción de los jueces. Se refiere a la prórroga dictada por García Castellón en la causa de Tsunami Democràtic en la que relaciona a Puigdemont con un posible delito de terrorismo. Un discurso distinto al del propio Pedro Sánchez en la moción de censura. Defendía modificar la ley y así lo hizo meses después.
