El confinamiento vuelve a Portugal. La evolución de la pandemia ha alcanzado nuevos máximos de casos y fallecidos por coronavirus. Por ello, La Asamblea de la República ha dado luz verde a una nueva prórroga del estado de emergencia, que estará en vigor al menos hasta el 30 de enero. Bajo el amparo legal de este decreto, el gobierno ha decidido imponer un confinamiento estricto, como el que se produjo a principios de año en todo el mundo. Las nuevas restricciones entrarán en vigor esta misma noche y según la evolución de los datos, se mantendrán durante 15 días. El presidente del país lamenta la dureza de un nuevo confinamiento, pero señala que contener el crecimiento de la pandemia es un objetivo urgente y abre la puerta a que los portugueses tenga que permanecer en casa al menos todo el mes de febrero.
