🔴Noticia – Una nueva colada destruye el cementerio de Las Manchas

Dos cursos de lava avanzan sobre la colada norte. Vistas de cerca se observa la fluidez y la velocidad de los flujos. En su camino hacia el océano continúan arrasando cultivos pero también edificaciones que quedaban intactas en las inmediaciones de la montaña de La Laguna. El origen de estos aportes lo hallamos observando el cono.
Hay una fuente de lava de altura considerable en primer término. Pero tras la silueta del cráter se observa otra que está llevando más destrucción a la zona sur. Una nueva lengua de lava atraviesa la planta fotovoltaíca y engulle, literalmente, las viviendas cercanas. En su trayectoria destruye también el cementerio de Las Manchas, tal y como muestra una imagen tomada por el cabildo de La Palma. El volcán sigue mostrando enorme explosividad en un cráter cuyo entorno ofrece cada vez más detalles. Podemos ver, junto a los depósitos de azufre, líneas verticales. Son las marcas que dejó la bajada de bombas volcánicas, aunque podría tratarse también del rastro que dejan algunos animales en su tránsito sobre los piroclastos y la ceniza.
