Agentes de la Policía Nacional han intervenido un total de 200 kilos de hachís cuando iban a ser robados por una organización criminal en Algeciras. El grupo estaba asentado en el sur de Francia y estaba formado por integrantes de origen marroquí que se dirigían hasta la ciudad gaditana para cometer el robo. Los investigadores consiguieron localizar el lugar donde se almacenaba la droga, organizando inmediatamente un dispositivo policial en la zona con el objetivo de detectar la presencia de los narcotraficantes y, de esta manera, evitar el robo. La droga se encontraba en el interior de una vivienda. Cuando los agentes entraron, encontraron varios fardos de hachís a simple vista, por lo que creen que los narcotraficantes y ladrones estaban cometiendo el robo en ese momento pero huyeron al escuchar a los agentes. La policía desplegó un dispositivo por la zona para buscar a los sospechosos sin éxito. Además de los 200 kilos de hachís encontrados, los agentes también encontraron una importante cantidad de dinero en efectivo así como documentación y restos biológicos que permitirán localizar a los autores.
