La consejera de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de la Junta, Carmen Crespo, pide al Gobierno Central que acometa ya las obras hidráulicas necesarias para Andalucía para afrontar el problema de la sequía. En declaraciones a Canal Sur, Crespo ha señalado que tenemos que hacer todo lo posible. En este sentido, la consejera asegura que el gobierno andaluz ya se ha adelantado activando un decreto de sequía. Además, la Junta está acometiendo obras hidráulicas en distintas provincias de la región para garantizar agua para el abastecimiento y el regadío. Carmen Crespo le pide al Gobierno de Pedro Sánchez que “se dé prisa”. Los embalses andaluces cuentan con casi un 13% menos de agua que hace un año. En la última semana la reserva de agua ha bajado 8 hectómetros cúbicos y en total, hay acumulados 3.329 de un total de 11.167. De media, los pantanos de la región están al 30% de su capacidad. Hace un año estaban casi al 43%.
