El paro en España bajó en febrero sin embargo en Andalucía, la tendencia ha sido bien distinta. En Andalucía ha aumentado en 4.394 personas durante ese mes, lo que implica un aumento del 0,55% y que sitúa la cifra total de desempleados en la comunidad en 809.959. Andalucía es la región donde más ha crecido el desempleo en términos absolutos durante febrero, seguida de Murcia y la Comunidad Valenciana. La agricultura es el sector donde más ha aumentado el paro, con 6.138 parados más. En cambio, baja en el sector servicios, en la construcción y en la industria. Del total de personas sin empleo en la comunidad, la mayor parte son mujeres. Por provincias, el paro sube en Jaén, que lidera la destrucción de empleo seguida de Granada, Córdoba, Almería y Sevilla. En el resto, Huelva, Málaga y Cádiz, bajó el paro.
