Luna es presidente de la Asociación Benéfica Miguel Vacas, que se dedica a acoger a niños ucranianos en España. Su esposa es ucraniana y se encuentra de visita al país con sus dos hijos, ambos nacidos en la localidad cordobesa de Cabra, cuando estalló la guerra.
