🔴Noticia – El PP acusa al PSOE de desmantelar el Infoca cuando gobernaba

El viceconsejero de Medio Ambiente de la Junta, Sergio Arjona, ha defendido la actuación del Infoca en los incendios forestales en Andalucía y ha dicho que nunca antes, este cuerpo de brigadistas había contado con tantos medios como ahora. En este sentido, ha acusado al PSOE de haberlo tenido completamente abandonado. Señala que cuando llegaron al gobierno andaluz se lo encontraron casi desmantelado. En concreto, destaca que había autobombas con 28 años de antigüedad y desde el 2006 no se compraron equipos nuevos. Con el PP al frente de la Junta, asegura que en sólo tres años se ha renovado el 75% de la flota y se ha hecho una inversión de 25,3 millones de euros. El viceconsejero ha indicado también que el gobierno andaluz ha dotado al Infoca de un Centro Operativo Regional que cuenta con sistemas punteros de tecnología, siendo hoy el mayor centro tecnológico del país en materia de emergencias en incendios forestales. Estas declaraciones vienen a raíz de las críticas que ha hecho el PSOE a la Junta de Andalucía a la que pide que renueve los equipos de protección del Infoca de manera urgente. La secretaria general del grupo parlamentario socialista, Pilar Navarro, se ha hecho eco de las denuncias sindicales por la falta de reposición de los equipos de protección individual (EPI) para los bomberos.

The general secretary of the socialist parliamentary group, Pilar Navarro, has echoed the union complaints for the lack of replacement of individual protection equipment (PPE) for firefighters.
