Así al menos lo ha señalado la Federación Andaluza de Empresarios de Playas (Faeplayas). y es que el sector ha notado un considerable repunte de turistas en los establecimientos costeros respecto a los dos últimos años que fueron bastante malos en datos económicos por culpa de las restricciones del covid. Aún así, desde esta plataforma reconocen que la temporada ha sido irregular por la subida del coste de la luz, transporte y materias primas, con lo que, aunque han registrado más clientes, los beneficios han sido menos de los esperados. De hecho, los establecimientos han subido sus precios entre un 3 y un 5%. El turismo nacional ha sido el predominante en el litoral andaluz. Según el presidente de esta federación, Manuel Villafaína, tanto la segunda quincena de julio como de agosto han sido estupendas mientras que la primera mitad de ambos meses, no se han cumplido las expectativas. A pesar de esto, el balance general es positivo aunque advierten que no saben qué va a partir de ahora con los anuncios de una posible recesión económica que se avecina en otoño.
