🔴Noticia – Se hunde un barco tras chocar con otro frente a Gibraltar

Dos barcos han colisionado la noche de este lunes frente a la costa de Gibraltar. El suceso ha ocurrido sobre las 22.00 de la noche cuando uno de los buques maniobraba para salir de la Bahía de Algeciras. Este navío, un granelero chocaba con otro que transportaba gas. El granelero ha resultado severamente dañado y ha comenzado a hundirse. La Autoridad Portuaria de Gibraltar ha dirigido el barco siniestrado a la zona este del Peñón, a unos 200 metros de la costa. El carguero tiene la proa hundida a 17 metros de profundidad y tiene en sus tanques 183 toneladas de fueloil pesado, 250 toneladas de diésel y 27 toneladas de aceite lubricante. Alrededor de este barco, los equipos portuarios británicos han desplegado una barrera anticontaminación de 400 metros en caso de un derrame de petróleo. También se han desplegado varios remolcadores.
