Este desenlace estaba dentro de las previsiones más pesimistas.Se ha declarado un Incidente Grave y eso comporta que se han cancelado todas las actividades portuarias.Los 24 tripulantes del buque siniestrado ya han sido evacuados de forma segura y ya han empezado los trabajos para recoger las 27 toneladas de aceite que han empezado a derramarse. Una fuga, que las autoridades de Gibraltar aseguran está controlada. En la población, sin embargo, crece el miedo a una marea negra.En sus tanques, el granelero llevaría más de 400 toneladas de fuel.
