Los dos heridos graves en el accidente de la Cabalgata de Marchena se encuentran fuera de peligro y ya han pasado a planta. Uno de ellos, es un menor de dos años que fue arrollado por un tractor que tiraba de una de las carrozas. El vehículo se salió del recorrido llevándose por delante a varias personas que presenciaban el desfile. En el incidente murió una mujer de 72 años. Estos dos heridos graves fueron trasladados al hospital Virgen del Rocío de Sevilla. Además de estos dos afectados, hubo nueve heridos leves de los que cuatro tuvieron que ser ingresados en el hospital de Marchena. Dos continúan hospitalizados y continúan estables. Las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad siguen investigando las causas que provocaron el accidente aunque se sabe que el conductor del tractor dio negativo en la prueba de alcohol y drogas que se le hizo después del suceso y la alcaldesa de Marchena informó al día siguiente que todos los vehículos pasaron los controles pertinentes.
