🔴Noticia – 60 escolares de Moguer replantan una zona quemada en 2017

El Ayuntamiento de Moguer, en la provincia de Huelva y las fundaciones Cepsa y Plant-for-the-Planet España han organizado este jueves una actividad medioambiental con 60 escolares del CEIP Virgen de Montemayor de la localidad en la que han realizado labores de restauración en una de las parcelas de la zona afectada por el incendio de Las Peñuelas en 2017, y se han encargado de la plantación de distintos árboles bajo la supervisión de los técnicos y monitores. En este sentido, el alcalde de Moguer, Gustavo Cuéllar, ha valorado que las «cosas tienen que hacerse de forma ordenada y mirando a un largo plazo», por lo que ha destacado el plan de reforestación, regeneración y recuperación» en la zona afectada. La superficie calcinada por el incendio de Las Peñuelas en 2017 es de casi diez mil hectáreas, y una parte muy importante de la superficie incendiada pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Moguer.
