🔴Noticia – Níjar desmantela el poblado chabolista del Walili

El Ayuntamiento de Níjar, en Almería, ha iniciado este lunes el desmantelamiento del poblado chabolista de El Walili, en el paraje de Los Nietos. Se encuentra ocupado desde hace años principalmente por trabajadores inmigrantes de los campos aledaños que serán trasladados a un centro de acogida de emergencia y derivación hasta poder darles un espacio donde vivir. Un desalojo que se produce a pesar de las peticiones de varias ONG que trabajan directamente con el Ayuntamiento y la Diócesis de pararlo por entender que no se dan las condiciones mínimas para llevarlo a cabo. A primera hora de la mañana se ha desplegado un amplio dispositivo de Guardia Civil y Policía Local de Níjar para efectuar el desalojo de estos ocupantes, muchos de los cuales han ido abandonado el espacio durante todo el fin de semana

The City Council of Níjar, in Almería, has begun this Monday the dismantling of the shanty town of El Walili, in the area of Los Nietos. It has been occupied for years mainly by immigrant workers from the surrounding fields who will be transferred to an emergency reception and referral center until they can be given a space to live. An eviction that occurs despite the requests of several NGOs that work directly with the City Council and the Diocese to stop it because they understand that the minimum conditions to carry it out are not met.
