🔴Noticia – Arrancan las obras de la línea 3 del Metro de Sevilla

Sevilla vuelve a tener obras del metro catorce años después de la inauguración de la línea 1. Este lunes 20 de febrero arrancan los trabajos del tramo norte de la línea 3 que unirá Pino Montano con el Prado de San Sebastián en 18 minutos. Esta línea dará servicio a 120.000 sevillanos de los barrios más poblados de la capital, como es el caso de Pino Montano pero también de La Macarena y Los Carteros. Para su puesta en marcha han sido necesarios años de negociaciones entre el Ministerio de Transportes y la Junta de Andalucía. Ambas administraciones, en presencia del Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, firmaron el pasado 25 de noviembre un acuerdo por el que se comprometían a financiar a partes iguales el coste total de esta infraestructura que asciende a 1.300 millones de euros. El tramo norte que ahora se inicia tiene una extensión de 7,5 kilómetros, 12 estaciones y posibilitará la conexión con la línea 1. La Junta ha prometido licitar los primeros subtramos del tramo norte de la línea 3 en el primer semestre de este mismo año. En cuanto al tramo sur de la línea 3, el pleno municipal se ha pronunciado a favor de estudiar su ampliación de forma que llegue hasta Dos Hermanas, e incluso que se estudie la manera de que llegue hasta San Jerónimo, donde se ubica la Agencia Espacial Española.
