Andalucía ha elevado este martes el nivel de alerta por riesgo de incendios forestales pasando de nivel bajo a nivel medio. Una declaración que este año se adelanta 15 días antes de lo normal. La Junta de Andalucía ha puesto en alerta a 2.500 efectivos y 120 vehículos ante la posibilidad de que se produzcan incendios forestales en la comunidad. El consejero de Medio Ambiente, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, ha tomado esta decisión por la situación meteorológica que atraviesa la región, con altas temperaturas unido a una grave sequía. En lo que va de año, el Infoca ha intervenido en 113 incendios forestales que han afectado a un total de 165 hectáreas. Uno de los últimos, el que afectó al término municipal de Tarifa, en Cádiz, la semana pasada.
